It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we wish to announce the passing on to glory of Mary Wambui Wainaina the occurred on Monday 1st February 2021. She halls from Kagambwa village, Muirigo Sub-location, Chania Location, Gatundu North Constituency in Kiambu County.

Daughter of the late Bethuel Kimani and late Dorcas Mbuiya. Wife of the late Benjamin Wainaina Kamau. Mother of Herman Kamai, Hon. Eng Patrick Wainaina (Wa Jungle) MP ThIka Town Constituency and Elizabeth Wangui. Mother-In-law of Rahab Wangari and Hellen Wambul.

Sister of Rebecca Wangari, Ruth Nduta, Veronicah Wanjiru, Gathoni, late Kamunge, late Njogu, late Merl, late Njambi, late Wanja, the late Waithira. Sister-in-law of the late Monicah Wanjiku Kinorti. Aunt of Wangui, Kamau, Wambui, Igecha and Assistant Chief Muiruri. Grandmother of Brian Wainaina, Isaac Githinji, Mary Wambui Kamau, Blessings Njeri, Joan Kimani, Ian Kimani, Joy Kimani, Princess Kimani, Roy Kimani, Angel Monicah Kimani, Junior Kimani, Phyllis Wangari, Mary Wambui and Alex Kamilla, She was great-grandmother of Beniamin Wainaina and Claire Wainaina

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her home In Kagambwa village for prayers and funeral arrangements starting at 6.00 pm. Funeral date shall be communicated at a later date.
