Mary Wamuhu Muturi

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mary Wamuhu Muturi of Giteme village, Kigoro Location, Gatanga Sub-county, Muranga County which occurred on 6th July 2018.

Beloved wife of the late Simeon Muturi Njunu. Daughter of the late John Wagacha Raithi and Wambui Wagacha (Kimando). Daughter-in-law of the late Josiah Njunu Muturi and Miriam Waithira. Sister of Jane Gathoni Njuguna, Phylis Njeri Nduati, Ngururi Wagacha, Virginia Wanjiru Burton, Mary Wamuhu Maina, Eng. Isaac Nganga and the late Phylis Njeri Kinuthia, Sarafina Muthoni Kanyagia, Kanai Wagacha, Maina Wagacha and Mwangi Wagacha. Mother of Miriam Waithira Muigai, Peter Wagacha, Lucy Wambui, Jane Nyambura Mwangi, Phylis Njeri Mburu, Stanley Mwangi,Ann Wanjiru, Lydia Muthoni Wainaina, John Maina, Eunice Wangechi And the late Paul Kamau. Mother-in-law of Margaret Mwihaki Kamau, Johnson Muigai, Tabitha Wambui, Annie Mwangi, Peter Wainaina, Leah Maina and the late Simon Mwangi and John Mburu. Grandmother and great grandmother of many.

Prayers and Funeral arrangements are being held daily at her residence in Giteme village near Ndakaini dam from 4.00pm.

The cortege leaves KU Funeral home on Friday 13th July 2018 at 8.00am for a funeral service to be held at her home in Giteme Village, Kigoro Location, Gatanga Sub-county.

She fought a good fight, finished the race and kept the faith.
