Mary Wanjiku Kung’u

We regret to announce the death of Mrs. Mary Wanjiku Kung’u, wife of the late Mr. David Kung’u Muchiri of North Kinangop, Ndunyu Njeru, Nandarasi Scheme, Kinangop Sub-County, Nyandarua County.

Mother of the late Elizabeth Wangari Njuru, the late Ruth Wangui Muturi, Jane Wanjiru Ngamate, Michael Muchiri Kung’u, Joseph Njuguna Kung’u (Ithe wa Chiku) formerly of Lands Office Nairobi and Rt. Rev. James Maria Wainaina Kung’u, Bishop Catholic Diocese of Murang’a. Mother-in-law of Lucy Kabura Njuguna and Veronica Muthoni Muchiri (formerly of KUSCO). A grandmother of many children.

Family members and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at her home Nandarasi Scheme, Ndunyu Njeru, from 5:00pm. There will also be a meeting on, Thursday 10th October and Friday 11th October at Sharks Place, Kiambu Road, for prayers and arrangements.

The cortege leaves North Kinangop Mission Hospital (Kwa Ng’othi) mortuary on Monday 14th October, 2019 at 8:00am for Funeral Mass and interment at her home Nandarasi Scheme, Ndunyu Njeru, (about 300 meters beyond the Parish Church) at 11:00am.

We loved you Mum/Cucu but God loved you most. Rest in Eternal Peace. Amen!
