It is with profound sadness and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Mary Wanjiru Gakuo, a spirited woman who lived life to the fullest.

Devoted wife of the late Stephen Gakuo Nderitu.

Loving mother of the late Ann Nyagura, Mercy Nijeri, Elijah Nderitu, Dr. James Gakuo, Samuel Maina and Esther Wangari.

Daughter of the late James Munyeni Wagura and the late Loise Njeri Munyeni.

Sister of the late Lydia Warukira, Josephat Wachira, and Gerald Kingori.

She was grandmother of Stephen, Alice, Sian, Tatyana, Jordyn, Caitlin, Ellis, Matilda, Hailey and one great grandchild named Shallene.

Funeral meetings are being held daily at the family home in Nakuru, Shabab, Isiolo Road from 5.00p.m and in Nairobi.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home on Friday 16th February, 2024 at 8:00a.m for a memorial service at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Shabab and interment thereafter at the South Cemetery Nakuru.
