It is with profound sorrow and sadness that we announce the passing on of Mrs. Mary Wanjiru Livingstone on Monday 27th of January 2020 following a long illness bravely born.

Daughter of the late Rev. Joseph Ngaracu and Ruth Njeri Ngaracu.Wife of the late Livingstone Maina Paul. Daughter-in-law of the late Paul Karanja and the late Esther Wangui. Sister of the late Stephen Ngaracu, the late Mathew Mwangi, the late John Gitonga, Mrs. Catherine Njeri Karanja, the late Andrew Karanja, Margaret Kahare, the late Eva Mudoga and the late Faith Wairimu. Sister-in-law of the late Marion Nyoro, the late Elizabeth Kiragu, the late Abigail Kamau, the late Ben Gakonyo and the late Millicent Njeri.

Mother of Prof. Koigi Kamau and Dorothy Koigi, Kenneth Karanja, Edward and Florence Ngaracu, Ben and Josephine Gakonyo, Ruth and Alfred Makokha and Stephen Gachuki. Grandmother of Dr. Paul Kamau Koigi and Lilian Kamau, Edwin Maina Gakonyo and Rebecca Gakonyo, Elizabeth Wanjiru Gakonyo, Dr. Mary Kiria Koigi, Irene inziani Gakonyo, Gideon Ngaracu, Dorothy Wangui Gakonyo, Stephanie Gachuki, Nasubo Wanjiru Makokha and Lawil Ngaracu. Great Grandmother of Tyler Maina Gakonyo and Reuben Koigi Kamau.

Meetings for the burial arrangements will be held at All Saints Cathedral (Kindergarten) from 5:30pm on Wednesday 29th January 2020 – Friday 31st January 2020.

Funeral service and burial to be held at her home in Murang’a, Gaturi Location, Nderwa Village on Tuesday 4th February 2020.
