It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mrs. Mary Watare Waitara of Kagongo Sub-location, Chinga, Othaya, Nyeri County.

Daughter of the late Elijah Gichuri Kamunge and the late Peris Wangari Gichuri of Itiati Mathira Sub-county Nyeri County.

Beloved wife of the late Zephania Waitara Gachugi.

Mother of Patriciah Nyokabi Gichimu, Patrick Gachugi, Peris Wangari, Cyrus Gichuri and Evanson Wambugu, Grandmother of Liz, Mathenge, Watare, Sammy, Jimi, Wandu, Gathoni, Allan, Alvina. Shantel and Skylar.

Mother-in-law of Shem Mathenge, Mercy Gichuri and Wanja Wambugu.

Sister of Johnson Kamunge, Eunice, Jemimah, Kahubi, Kabubu, Charity and Ndirangu.

Sister-in-law of Evanson, Nancy, Duncan, Gathoni Gachugi and Dr. Anne Ndirangu.

Family and friends are meeting at Jimlizer Hotel Buruburu from 6.00pm and also at their residential home in Kihari Kagongo, Chinga, Othaya.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home -Thika Road – on Saturday 15th May, 2021, at 7.00am.

The funeral ceremony will be at ACK St. Paul Kariki Church Kagongo, Chinga, Othaya at 10.00am, followed by burial at her Kihari home in Kagongo Sub-location, Chinga Othaya.
