It is with deep and profound sadness that we accept and announce the untimely death of Mr Mathews Mukhanji lkhokoro that occurred on Saturday 23rd May 2020 after a brave battle with diabetes and hypertension.

The second born of Mr Adriano Ilolo lkhokoro (late) and Mrs Elizabeth Wilunda Abakalwa (late). Beloved husband of Mama Frida Mbalasi Mukhanji and a loving father of Josphat Mukhanji, Gilbert Malenya, Roselyne Mmbaka (late), Selpher Shiambula, Robert lkhokoro, Carren Lulayi (late) and Audrey Mukhanji. He was a jovial brother of Leonida (late), Willimina, Mary, Florence, Getrude, Josephine, John, Joseph (late), Felistus, Scholastica, Rose, Peter, Benedict (late), Winfridah, Jennifer, Hieronim and Cecilia. Father-in-law of Lucy, Christabel, Anne, Ken and Dennis. Mathews was a grandfather of Metrine, Lester, John (late), Larry, Leslie, Natalie, Natasha, Wesley, Leyton, Gibril, Roxeene, Liam, Presley and Barbara. Great grandfather, uncle, cousin, nephew and friend to many.

The body is lying at St Elizabeth Hospital Mortuary, Mukumu. He will be laid to rest on Saturday 30th May 2020 at his home at Shitaho village, Shieywe location. Kakamega Central of Kakamega County.
