Maureen Apondi Abuodha

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the untimely passing on of Maureen Apondi Abuodha of Cooperative Bank Nakuru which occurred on 19th November 2020.

Daughter of the late Kepha Owili Abuodha and the late Wilkista Opany Abuodha of Kisumu Nyahera, Kateng village. Loving mother of Chloe Achieng Apondi. Beloved sister of Dickens Abuodha, James Omondi, Martin Oluoch, Fredrick Otieno, Dennis Owuor, John – Paul Abuodha, Jacky Owili and Samuel Ochieng (Doc). Niece of Justice Nelson Jorum Abuodha, Festus Abuodha, Jothams Owinga, the late Enoch Bodo among others. Sister-in-law of Jackie Omondi, Pauline Oluoch, Lynnette Owuor. Cousin of Nick, Juliet, Chris, Moses, Judith Akinyi, Ouma, Natalie, Wendy, Fred, juddy Owingajoab, Collins among others. Aunty of Clyde, Jean, Maxine, Tyra, Miguel, Levis and others. She was also a friend to many.

Meetings are being held at her residence in Nakuru and virtually. Family and friends who would like to support are encouraged to contribute through Mpesa No.0722126727.

The cortege leaves Nakuru War Memorial Hospital on Friday 4th December 2020 at 11.30am for a memorial service at St. John’s ACK Bondeni, Nakuru beginning at 1pm. Thereafter, it proceeds to Kisumu.

Funeral service and burial will take place on 5th December, 2020 at her father’s home in Nyahera, Kateng, Kisumu county.
