Cherished mother to the late Mwalimu Ruth Barasa, Margret Taracha (Kakamega Referral Hospital), Gladys Simiyu, Edward Wasilwa, Saul Wasilwa (former MD Nzoia Sugar Co), Tim Wasilwa (UNICEF Nairobi), Eric Wasilwa, Moses Wasilwa and Amos NNasilwa (Bungoma County). Stepmother to Peter, Joel, Sarah, the late Douglas, Catherine and Sarah Nasipwondi.

The body leaves Life Care Funeral Home Bungoma on 14/05/2021 at 2.00 PM. The funeral service and burial will take place at her home in Kibingel Village, Kimilili Sub-County on 15/05/2021.
