It is with humble acceptance of God’s will, the we announce the passing on to glory of Mercy Chelimo Teko, which occurred on 15th March, 2023.
Daughter to James and Tecla Teko. Sister to JacobTeko, Sarah and Brian Mwanjila, Solomon Teko.
Auntie to Mwakazi Mwanjila and Zaya Mwanjila. She was a cousin and a friend to many.
Prayers and funeral arrangements are being held daily at the family’s home in Nairobi West, Miller Estate, from 5.00pm.
The cortege shall leave Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital Mortuary in Eldoret on 28th March, 2023 at 6.00am, for the funeral service and burial at her family’s farm in West Pokot County.

Discovering that Mercy has passed away comes as a terrible shock. We were close friends for over a year, yet we never actually met in person. We kept in touch, however, and were chatting right up until two days before the end – then suddenly she wasn’t there any more. Now I know why. My deepest and most heartfelt condolences to all her family and friends.
