It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mrs. Mercy Jane Wambui Mbugua, which occurred on 7th July 2021.

Daughter of James Kagwima Ichere and Rosemary Wanjiru Kagwima. Dear wife of John Mbugua Karanja (Johana/Debbys/Engare Investments). Beloved mother of Deborah Wanjiru Mbugua, Elijah Karanja Mbugua and James Kagwima Mbugua. Mother-in-law of David Makanga Mugo and Yvonne ‘Ivy’ Nyambura Karanja. Awesome Grandma of Jayden Karanja, Eli Makanga and Tawi Karanja.

Daughter-in-law of the late Elijah Karanja Muiruri and the late Deborah Wanjiru Karanja. Sister of Joseph Warui Kagwima (Baba), Esther Wangui Gichanga, Andrew Wainaina Kagwima, Sara Njeri Gitahi and Judith Wanjiku Ngugi. She was a wonderful auntie, cousin, niece and friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at their home in Murengeti (Limuru), Kiambu County.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on Thursday 15th July 2021 at 8:00am for burial and funeral service on the same day. The Church service will be held at PCEA/AIC Bibirioni from 10.00am. Thereafter, she will be laid to rest at their Murengeti home.
