Michael Gichere Gakuo

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Michael Gichere Gakuo which occurred on 27th August 2022.

Son of Mary Muthoni Gakuo and the late Wallace Gichere. Loving Husband to Judy Njeri Gichere and a doting father of Gavin Gakuo Gichere. Cherished brother to Stella Wanjugu and a loving uncle to Timla Muoka, Dylan Kariuki, Darren Gakuo and Abdul Kadir.

Son-in-law to Mr. & Mrs Stephen Ndung’u of Rukubi-Kanyariri, Kabete Constituency, Kiambu County. Brother-in-law to Kevin Boro Ndung’u and Eric Njoroge Ndung’u.

Much loved nephew to Ann Gakuo, Catherine Muimi, Evah Kang’aru, the late Christopher Kang’aru and the late Jane Agnes Kabugo.

Adored cousin to Sheila, Nzau, Ellah, Janet, Tatiana, Audrey, Gakuo, Emily, Elsie and Eudiah.

Family and friends are meeting daily at their home in River Park Estate, Membley from 6:00pm, All Saints Cathedral from Tuesday, 30th August 2022 to Friday, 2nd September 2022 from 5:30pm and at their rural home in Muruguru-Nyeri.

There will be a requiem mass on Friday, 2nd September 2022 at St. Clare Catholic Church Membley-BTL at 1:30pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital (Northern Bypass) on Tuesday, 6th September 2022 at 6:30 am for the Mass and interment at their family home in Muruguru- Nyeri starting 10.00am.
