Michael Maina Mahuro

 1946 – 2019

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Michael Maina Mahuro on 5th September 2019 at Kenyatta National Hospital.

Son of the late Joseph Thuo (Mahuro) and the late Margaret Wambui. Brother of Gladys Njeri, Stanley Ruoro, Stephen Kariuki and the late Wairimu, Wangui, Wangu and Paul Ndirangu. Loving husband of Florence Nyambura. Doting father of Edward Thuo (Githunguri Girls), John Kabue (KEBS), Judy Wambui (Helma), Edmond Ndirangu (Embassava), Rose Wangui (Quickmart Supermarket), Ethan Mwangi (Businessman), Stanley Ruoro (Businessman) and Rahab Wairimu (Business-lady).

Son-in-law of the late Hezron Kabue and the late Damaris Wangui. Father-in-law of Beatrice (Mbugiti High School), Andrine (Andka Enterprises), Gakuru Kimondo (Businessman), Cecelia Wairimu (Unjiru Dispensary), Alice Gathoga (Business lady), Pauline Makena (Stelurm Elite) and Muraya Witu (Samkyo Investments). A grandfather of David, Michelle, Eric, Olive, Kelvin, Keith, Jeremy, Daisy, Michael, Abigail, Altrine, Blessing, Esther, Mike, Edi,Alma and Nila. An uncle to many.

Family and friends are meeting at Norwich Union Towers and at his rural residence in Kagumo-ini Mathioya Sub county from Monday to Thursday from 6.00pm-8.00pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary on Friday 13th at 7.30am for burial at Kagumo-ini Village, Mathioya Sub county Murang’a County.
