Michael Mburu Kiriko

1948-2019

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Michael Mburu Kiriko on 31/1/2019 after a long illness.

He was a beloved son of the late Kiriko Gachengeci and the late Pheris Wairimu Mukuhi. He was the loving husband to Margaret Nduta Mburu. Loving father to Perk Wairimu (BTL), Nancy Nyambura (City Gate Restaurant), Patrick Kiriko and Isaac Ng’angi (Velig Enterprises). Father in law to George Mugweru (Habitat for Humanity), Peter Kiarie (Pedrosa), Naomi Njeri and Keziah Njeri. A doting grandfather to Roni, Kellen, Dennis, Nicole, Joy, Zahria, Celestine, Crystal and Michael. Brother to the late Janet Njeri Karichu, Hannah Njeri Gatumbo, late Hotensiah Wangui Kuria, John Mwaura Kiriko, late Mary Njoki Gitagia and Mary Nduta Kimani.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Kanyariri, Kikuyu.

A memorial service will be held at Parklands Baptist Church (Westlands) on Wednesday 6th from 12:00 noon to 2:00 m.

A funeral mass will be held at St Anne’s Catholic Church Muthure, Kikuyu on Thursday the 7th from 10:00am and thereafter an interment at his home in Kanyariri.
