Micheal Kiplagat Yego (Arap Yego)

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Mr. Micheal Kiplagat Yego (Arap Yego) of the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Forestry, Kenya Meteorological Department, which occurred on Wednesday, 8th March 2023 at MP Shah Hospital, Nairobi.

He was the beloved son of the late AnthonyYego Chelang’a and Magdalene Tula Chelang’a of Kapsaniak (Kapcheboo) Family of Kamok village, Kipsaiya location, Kapsowar Ward, Marakwet West., Elegyo- Marakwet County.

He was the loving husband to the late Lucy Wangui Muturi and Margaret Waithera Kiplagat.

Son-in-law to the late John Muturi Mwangi and Esther Wangari and Njuguna Mwangi and Veronica Njoki.

Brother to Paul, Elizabeth, Jacob, Divinah, Margaret, Albine and Evaline. Loving father to Esther, Evalyne, Festus, Veronica and Ian.

Brother-in-law to George, Anne, Iraki, Mary, Nyokabi, Wacuka, Maina, Muchina and Wangare.

Grandfather to Michille, Shantel, Tassia, Joy and Kiplimo.

Friends and relatives are meeting in Nairobi at Professional Center everyday from 10th to 15th March 2023 starting from 5.30pm to 8.30pm.

Fundraising will be held on 15th March 2023 at the same venue.

The cortege will depart from Montezuma Funeral Home on Friday, 17th March 2023 at 7.00am for his home in Elgeyo Marakwet. An evening service will be held at home from 4.00pm.

The burial ceremony will be on Saturday, 18th March 2023.
