Mike Munyi Mbogo

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mr. Mike Munyi Mbogo (retired teacher and lay-leader). Son of the late Mr. Eston Mbogo Varanja and late Mrs. Trizah Nguru Eston. Beloved husband of Cecily Mutitu Munyi. Loving father of Magdaline Wanjiru and Job Njiru. Brother of Trufosa Mutitu Munyi, Abiud Mugo, Mathew Ndwiga, Margery Muthoni and Epapharus Njue. Grandfather of Maryanne, Sixtus and Cecil. Uncle of Winfred Wanjuki, Justine Munene, Maurine Wawira among others. Cousin of Dr. Grace Nyaga Joseph Ndwiga, Wambeti Bedan among others. Son-in-law of Mr Stanley Njagi (Macaga) and Mrs Teresia Runji. Brother-in-law of Silas, Njue, Consolata, Venancia, Anne, Lucy and Phylis. Father-in-law of Nicholas Murithi and Agusta Murugi. In-Iaw of Mr & Mrs Agapio Ndwiga and Mr. & Mrs. Samuel Nyamu.

Family and friends are meeting daily at their Kiamuceru home near Manyatta Market, Embu North Sub-County. The cortege leaves Gakwegori Funeral Home on Monday 13th Feb 2017 at 8.00am and thereafter funeral services at St Catherine Church-Kairuri.

Burial will later take place at his Kiamuceru home.
