Millicent Onyancha

It is with great sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved Millicent Onyancha (formerly of Phoenix Aviation-Wilson Airport), which occurred on 9th August, 2019 at Kenyatta National Hospital after a long illness bravely borne.

Daughter of the late Benson Onyancha and Susana Barongo and Josephine Bwari. Sister of Hellen, Delilah, Jeliah, Johnson, Callen, Flora, Eunia, Tom, Sophia, Albert, Zachary, Kennedy, Morara, Teresa, Kebaso and others. Niece of Monte, Onduko, Abere, Omache, the late Nyambane, the late Nyachio, the late Omanwa, Mose, the late Bochaberi, the late Marita, Petua, Basweti and others. Cousin of many, auntie of Edwin, Gesora, Reuben, Cornelius, Emily, Zamzam, Melvin, Oscar, Gideon and many others.

Friends and family are meeting daily at Rapid Fast Foods Restaurant KICC for prayers and burial arrangements from 5.30Pm. There will be a main fund-raiser to defray the hospital bill and funeral expenses on Thursday 15th August 2019 beginning from 5.30Pm the same venue.

The mass will be conducted at Kenyatta National Hospital’s Funeral Home on Saturday 17th August, 2019 at 8.00am and thereafter the cortege leaves for Nyamira County for burial.

She will be laid to rest on 18th August, 2019 at her rural home in Nyakeore village, Kebirigo, Nyamira County.
