Monica Mumbua Matheka

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to the next life of our beloved Mama Monica Mumbua Matheka on 22nd June 2018.

Wife of the late Alphonce Matheka Musyoki. Daughter of the late Augustine Mailu and the late Lucia Ndaisi Mailu. Mother of Josephine and James Wanjohi, the late Fidelis and Mary Mutisya, Victoria and Francis Musyoki, Matthew Mutunga, Virginia Kiloko, Caro and Gerald Mailu, Geradine and Patrick Njuguna and Ignatius Itotya. Daughter-in-law of the late Morris Musyoki and the late Cecilia Kiloko. Monica is also blessed with many grand children among them Muthoni, Nzyoki, Joram, Pascaline, Nicole and Precious.

Sister of the late Victoria and the lace Pius Kivaya, the late Basilio and Anna Basilio, the late Nicholas and Elizabeth Muinde, Philomena and Thomas Mailu, Susan and Benedict Kaindi, Robert and Berita Mutuku, Peter and Felista Ndunge, the late Perminas and Josephine Musau, Elizabeth and Patrick Kilonzo, Anna and Paschal Muema.

Sister-in-law of the late Agnes and Anthony Kitaka, the late Patrick and Francisca Nduku, the late Teresia and the late John Kovoi, Pauline Muthoki, Berita Mwasi, Berita and Harrison Ngumbi (Kwale County) and the late Rosemary and the late Joseph Wambua. Auntie of Angeline, the late Philip, Stella, Anne, Musyoki, Kithu, Kyalo, Felix, Berina, John, Margaret, Mutinda, Winnie, Muthama, Kyalo, Eunice and Augustine among others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Garden Square, Nairobi and at her hope in Mavindu Village, Mbilini Sub-location, Kangundo sub-country, Machakos for funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave Machakos Funeral Home on Saturday 30th June 2018 for Funeral Service to be held in her home Mbilini, Kangundo.
