We wish to announce the demise of Monica Teresia Wanjiru Ndung’u that occurred on 24th Jan, 2020 while undergoing treatment at War Memorial Hospital Nakuru.

Daughter of the late Josephat Mathu and late Lucia Wanjiku. Daughter in law of late Daniel Kuria Mwago, late Damaris Wanjiru and Rakeli Wang i. Wife of the late Cllr. Gregory Ndung’u Mwago. Mother of Margaret Njeri and Samuel Mureithi, Lucy Wanjiku (UK), John Bosco Kuria (Lanet Sawmill) and Tabitha Wambui, Josephat Mathu (UK) and Jacinta Wanjira, Flora Wambui (Lanet Sawmill) and Joseph Kithinji and Hon. Anastasia Ndung’u (Mgst. Makindu Lawcourts). Sister of Maria Gathoni, Late Paul Komo, Juliana Wambui, Paulina Nyambura, Julius Mathu, Joseph Mathu, John Mathu, Salome Wariara, Michael Mathu, Agnes Gathoni, Lydia Wanjiku, Benedetta Wambui, Late Joseph Komo, Juliana Wariara, Elizabeth Kabura and Patrick Mathu. Sister-in-law of Njore, Wambui, Wanjiku, Wagoro, late Paul Njore, Karanja, Njenga, Tabitha Wambui, Bari, Nyambura, Monica Wagoro, Wakaba and Gicharu. Grandmother of Simon, Louise, Martin, Rachel, Monica, Vanessa, Monique, Precious, Andrew, Terry Nephews.

Friends and family are meeting daily at 6pm at Eden bar next to Mwariki Police station for funeral arrangements and at her home Ngachura.

The cortege leaves War Memorial Funeral Home Nakuru on 01/02/2020 at 8.30am for a funeral service at St. Michael Catholic Church, Kiamaina (Maili Sita Ngachura) followed by burial at her home JC along Kabatini road.
