1942 – 2019

It is with profound sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of James K. Arap Chemenei on Monday 13th May 2019.

Son of the late Simon and Esther Tapterik. Loving husband of Leah and Sally Chemenei. Father of Lucas, Sambai, Hellen, Philip, Robert, Julia, Jared, Japhet, Rowline, Erick, Gilbert, Denis, Charles, Mercy and Jackline. Brother of Catherine, Mary, Jonathan, Sarah, Rachael, Rebecca, Annah, Eunice, Elijah, Esther, John, Grace, Lilly, Linah, Erick, Evaline and Maryline. Father in-law, uncle and grandfather of many.

The Funereal Service will be held on Saturday 25th May 2019 at Litein High School grounds in, Bureti Sub-county, Kericho County, starting at 9:00am. Thereafter the body will be laid to rest at his home in Samugeti Village.

Family and friends are meeting daily at home in Samugeti village for prayers and burial preparations.

There will be a fund-raiser on Wednesday 22nd May, 2019 to offset hospital bill. Contributions can be sent via Mpesa No. 0720721329.

The cortege leaves Lazarus Funeral Home (Siloam) on Friday 24th May 2019. A memorial service to celebrate his life shall be held on the same day at Litein A.I.C. starting from 11:00am.
