Mr. Samuel Matano Mng’ong’o

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mr. Samuel Matano Mng’ong’o (Physicist), previously of the Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development (formerly Roads and Public Works), Nairobi. Samuel (Beki) passed away on Wednesday July 18 2018 at MP Shah Hospital, Nairobi after a long illness bravely borne.

Son of the late Mzee Henry Matano and the late Constance Kache. He was married to Ms. Emma Komora. Father of Mtuku Espie Kitsao. Brother of Samuel Sadi, Sophie Matano, Mary Ramadhani, George Benyawa, Jane Mekitsao, Sarah kwekwe, Lucy Uba, Henry Matano and the late Florence Chiku. Cousin, uncle and grandfather of many.

Funeral arrangements are going on every evening at KK Restaurant Nairobi as well as his ancestral home in Shauri Moyo, Mazeras from 5:30pm.

Final fundraising will be held at the above venues on Wednesday July 25 from 5:30pm.

There will be a short requiem mass at the MP Shah Hospital mortuary from 12.00-2.00pm Thursday 26 July 2018.

The cortege arrives at the Moi International Airport, Mombasa at 1.00pm on Friday 27 July 2018.

There will follow a service at the Mazeras Methodist Church of Kenya at 3.00pm.

Arrival at his residence at 5.00pm for overnight vigil.

Funeral Service will begin at 11.00am on Saturday July 28, 2018 followed by burial at Mission Cemetery Mazeras.
