It is with humble acceptance to God’s will that we announce the promotion to Glory of our Patriarch and Chairman of Astrol Petroleum Company Limited, Mr.Thayu Kamau Kabugi (E.B.S) on 20th February, 2019 after a short illness bravely borne at The Nairobi Hospital.

Husband of the late Rebecca Nyambura Kamau. Son of the late Kabugi Karunji and Grace Kabura Kabugi. Brother of the late Samson Karunji Kabugi and the late Loise Gathoni. Loving Father of Joseph Kabugi and Jane Muthoni, the late Robert Macharia, George Karunji and the late Judy Wacuka, Benson Kangethe and Susan Wambui, Jane Kabura and James Karimi, Susan Waruinu and Dennis Mukugi, Margaret Wanjiku and the late Silas Ndwiga, Grace Koimbi and Humphrey Mwithiga, Stephen Karanja and Caroline Wangui and James Mwangi and Wangui Mwangi. An Uncle, Cousin, In-law, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather a dear friend and mentor of many.

Family and friends are meeting at his Karen and Gitui home (Muranga County) daily. There will be a final meeting today, Wednesday 27th February, 2019 at All Saints Cathedral from 5.00pm.

The Cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home tomorrow, Thursday 28th February, 2019 at 7:00am.

Our Patriarch will be laid to rest at his home in Muringu Village, Gitui Sub-location, Gathamba Location, Wangu Division, Kahuro Sub-county, Muranga County, Tomorrow, Thursday 28th February, 2019 after a funeral service at GITUI PRIMARY SCHOOL starting at 10:00am.
