It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Mrs Ann Mwania, Principal Lower Yatta Girls Secondary School in Kitui County on Wednesday, 17th January, 2018.

Wife of Joseph Mwania (KDF Engineers), mother to Jedida Martha (NHIF), Japheth Keki (JKUAT) and Elizabeth Kasyoka. Daughter of the late Julius Mutisya and Veronicah Mutisya. Sister to the late Peter, the late Isika, Mueke, Mutaki, Wambua, Mumo, Ndambuki, Mwia and Musenya. Daughter-in-law to Japheth K. Mwania, CBS, Jedidah and Pauline. Sister-in-law to Mary, Chene, Tabitha (all in USA), Lydia, Martha, Maria and S.K. Niece to Solomon Mwania, the late Julius Mwania, Julius Mumo, Solomon Mailu, Peter Kimanzi, Beth Kyalo,Adhiambo Juma, Magdalena Solomon and Louise Solomon, Joyce John, Nduma Muthoka, Rodgers Kilungya (National Assembly) among others. Aunt to Shiloh (USA), Jimmy Peter, the late Veronicah Peter, Mutisya, Munee Malombe among others. Cousin to Elizabeth and Nzuki Mwania, John Muthoka, DSM (KDF), Sammy Juma, Josephine Kyalo, James Kimolo, Maureen among others. Granddaughter of the late Mary Kitaa, the late Mwania Muli and Joyce Kimanzi.

Relatives and friends are meeting from 5:30pm in Nairobi on Monday 22nd and Tuesday 23rd at Blessed Irene Nyatha Hall, Cardinal Otunga Annex, 7th floor.

There will be fundraising on Wednesday 24th at Cardinal Otunga Hall, Ground floor, Holy Family Basilica. At Moonlight Hotel in Kitui town, Elimwa Hotel at Kyusyani market and Shika Adabu Hall Itoleka market.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home at Machakos on Saturday 27th January 2018 at 7:00 am for service and burial at her home in Itoleka Village, Kitui Central Constituency.
