It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved Mrs. Dorothy Kivivya Mwendwa (Syonzonge) which occurred on 28th May 2019.

Daughter of the late Mbiukya Ngulu and late Ndethya. Daughter in-law of the late Kavisu Lua and late Kasumo. Wife of late Zakayo Mwendwa, and co-wife of late Elizabeth Syongumu Mwendwa. She was mother of late Samson Kithoka, late Lameck Nzuka, Fredrick Ngula, late Boniface Masai, Ramadhan Nzonge, late Mwale, late Gabriel Muthusi, late William Mutisya, late Joshua Mbyuka, Patricia Charles, Michael Mwenga, Anna Mwanake, late Barnabas Kalonzo, Fildema Kasumo, Fr. Flavian Mutua, James Kanyolo and Joseph Ngosi. She was mother in-law of Jemimmah lthoka, Late Serah Ngula, Rita Masai, Mary Muthusi, Pauline William, late Charles Mwaniki, Nzuka Kasina, late Patricia Mwenga, Joseph Kivai, Angelina Kalonzo, Ngutu Mulindu, Francisca Muthusi, Rose Kanyolo, and Angelina Ngosi.

She was grandmother of Abel Ithoka, Musili Ngula, Zakayo Muthusi, Mwendwa Nzuka, Katanu Ngikwa, Muthui William, Zakayo Joshua, Mulindu Ngutu, Kawila Peter, Mwikali Mwanake, Mutuo Charles, Ben Mwenga, Mwendwa Kanyolo, Ndale Ngosi, among many others. Aunt of Late Joshua Mwenga, Boniface Mwenga, Bob Mutua, Mwinzi Mutua, Elijah Mutua, Mbuli Mathu, Ngutu Mwavu, Anna Musyoka, Joshua Kwali, Mwavu Muindu, Musili Nzuli, Makaa Kisangu among many others, Sister in-law of late Mwenga Kavisu, late Mutua Kavisu, late Kyenze Tovo, Alice King’alu Kang’e, late Mbuli Kiongo, Kivwea Mathaala, Ruthi Luki, Mwavu Kavisu, late Munyange Muindu, Kitondo Musee, Musau Nzula among many others. She was great grandmother of Sam Abel, Vundi Mwendwa, Katui Nzula, Lillian Mwenga, Mawia Peter, Angel Zakayo, Makaa Musili, Masai Mwenga, among many others.

The cortege will leave Muthale Mission Hospital on Friday 7th June 2019 at 8:30am for funeral service at Kasanga Village home and thereafter burial at the same venue.
