Mrs. Florence Wairimu Kamau (Nyina Wa Kahuria)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on and promotion to glory of Mrs. Florence Wairimu Kamau (Nyina Wa Kahuria) of Wahundura village, Kamacharia location, Murang’a County which occurred on Wednesday 5th September 2018.

Daughter of the late Muriithi Kahuro and Wothaya Muriithi. Wife of the late Samuel Kamau Kahuria. Mother of Gibson Mwangi of Uplands Premium Dairies and Foods, the late Lydia Wangari, the late Bilha Muthoni, Symon Kariuki of Brookside Dairies-Kiganjo, David Muraguri of ASP, Dennis Waithaka of East African Foundry Works and John Gicheru.

Mother-in-law of Jane Wangari M. Kamau of Nairobi River Primary School, Beatrice Wangui Kariuki of Kamatongu Primary School-Mweiga, the late Gidraph Gathenya Waithaka, Rodha Wangari Muraguri, Beth Waithaka and Grace Wanjiku Gicheru. Sister of Phyllis Wanjiru Rukwaro, Milcah Mumbi Mwangi, Laura Wangeci Kiraguri and the lates Gachungi, Ndegwa, Mwai, Mrs. Florence Wairiuko and Gichane.

Friends and relatives are meeting at Tumaini house near former Green Corner Restaurant (Kencom area) daily, on Monday 10th September 2018 and Tuesday 11th September 2018 at 5:30pm for funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave Kiria-ini Mission Hospital Mortuary on Wednesday 12th September 2018 at 9:00am for a funeral service at ACK Wahundura Church at 11:00am and thereafter burial at her home near Ngechu Primary School.

Mum, you fought a good fight. You have finished the race and kept the faith. Fare thee well mum.
