It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Mrs. Marion Wakanyi Kamau, former Chair of Greenbelt Movement and board member of Kenya Girl Guides Association. Former long serving Deputy Headmistress Westlands Primary Schoo! and Headmistress Highridge Primary School.
Daughter of the late PC.E.A Elder George Munene Thogoto and the late Damaris Munene of Molo.
Wife of the late Christopher Njomo Kamau. Mother of the late Gathoni, the late Jane Wanjiru, Mary Wanjiku and Pauline Mugure Ngenga.
Grandmother of the late Solange Wakanyi, Matthew Mbithi Ngenga, Wangui Ngatia, Mutanu Ngenga, Wakanyi Ngatia and Nzomo Negenga.
Mother-in-law of the late Michel Bosio, Ngatia Ndungu and Patrick Ngenga.
Sister to the late Senior Chief John Thogoto, late Josephine Mugure, late Hellen Wambui Kariuki, late Agnes Thira, and late Walter Kimani.
Family, relatives and friends are meeting on Monday 4th March 2024 to Wednesday 6th March 2024, at St.Andrews Church Nairobi from 5:30pm to 6:30pm.
The cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home on Friday 8th March 2024 at 9am for the funeral service at PCEA St. Andrews Church Nairobi, followed by burial thereafter at Langata cemetery.
