Mrs. Purity Gitonga

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing to glory of Mrs. Purity Gitonga, a nurse at Chogoria mission Hospital, which occurred on Thursday 21st September 2017.

Beloved daughter of the late Mzee Ezekiel Ndii and Mama Jennifer Ndii. Daughter-in-law of the Late Geoffrey Kaugi and Martha Kagendo. Beloved wife of Gebson Gitonga Kaugi Mwiki village, Chogoria location, Tharaka-Nithi County. Mother of Dennis Mawira -The Option One Distributors (E.A) Ltd, Michael Mwenda Nairobi West Hospital, Alex Munene, Lindah Murugi Machakos University. Mother-in-law of Pamela and Sylvia.

Grandmother of Lee Mutugi. Sister of Mutegi Ndii, the late Harriet Kaburi, Joyce Mbaka, Franklin Mbuba Ndii (formerly of Kenya Utalii College and Director of Tourism Finance Corporation) and Evelyn Mbae. Sister-in-law of Murithi, Mutegi, Kawira, Makena, Nkatha, Charity, Mbaya, Mwandiki and Mama Kim.Aunt of Kellen Ndii-Kibe, josyline, Grace, Peter, Flora, Kawira, Carol, Kim, Patricia Gloria, Wanja, Mutembei, Munene, Sila, Mwende, Elvis amongst others.

Meetings are taking place at St Andrews Church Nairobi on 27th, 28th September and 3rd, 4th October 2017 and daily at Legacy Hotel Chuka and at her Mwiki home daily from 5.00 pm. Funeral   service will take place at P.C.E.A St John Church Kimuchia on Friday 6th October 2017 from 10.00am and burial thereafter at her Mwiki home .
