It is with great sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Musa Rioba Ongwana, who hails from Nyamira County, West Mugirango Constituency, Nyamaiya Ward Bokiambori Sub-location GetukaVillage, formerly of Nairobi Serena Hotel, which occurred on 09/07/2022 at Kericho Referral Hospital while undergoing medical treatment.

Husband to Teresa Nyaboke Rioba (formerly of KEBS). Father to Alffin (AFC), Harrison (NYS) and Sam (Mayfair, Uganda).

Son of the late Jones Michira Ongwana, Peninah Kerubo. Step-son to Sibia Ongwana. Brother toYuniah, the late Obonyo, Hosea, Jane, Charles, Nyanchama, the late Nyanga’u, Milka, Onchiri and Hellen.

Father-in-law to Francisca, Phanice, Winfridah, Judy and Diana.

Son-in-law to Omariba’s. Brother-in-law to Geziah, Stephen, Sibia, Nyakundi Nelson. Uncle to Kennedy, Onchonga, Nyambori, Nelson, Francis, Job and Lydiah.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily for funeral arrangements at his Sondu home and Nyamaiya from 4.00pm. The main fund-raiser will be on Monday 18/07/2022, both at Sondu and Nyamaiya homes.

The cortege leaves Our Lady of Mercy Kebirigo (IBARA) Health Centre, at 2:00pm on 21/07/2022. Funeral and burial service wiII take place on 22/07/2022 at his home in Kipkok.
