Mwalimu Adah Moi Maina
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the demise of our beloved sister in Christ Mwalimu Adah Moi Maina .
Daughter of the late Mathew Ommani and Hellen Anyolo which occurred on 21st of July 2018 at Lumino Hospital Kakamega County. Wife of the late Mwalimu Tom Maina Murai. Sister of Samson Ommani, the late Ann, the late Rufa, the late Misango, the late Tabitha, Muruka, Timina, Amos and Hellen. Mother of Hellen Maina, Evans Murai, Rose Omollo, James Maina, Jane Wanangwe, Hannington Maina, Geoffrey Maina, Mary Osimbo, Beatrice Maina and Trizah Maina. Mother-in-law of Christine, Pamela, Sarah, Susan, Naomi, Alfred Omollo and Joseph Wanangwe. She has left 38 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. She died at the age of 80 years.
Family and friends are meeting daily in her home in Maraba village.
The cortege left Kakamega County General Hospital on Thursday the 26th July 2018.
Burial will take place at her home in Maraba village (Near Maraba Market, East -Wanga Location-Miimias East Sub County on Saturday the 28th July 2018 commencing at 9.00 a.m led by Most Reverend Bishop Joseph Wandera.
