It is with deep sorrow and the acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of our beloved Father Mr. Francis Simeon Njiru Munya that occurred on 8th June 2019.

Loving husband of Mary Sophia Ruguru and beloved son of the late Simeon Munya and Consolata Nyambura. Step son of the late Anna Thara and the late Martha Wangai. Son in law of the late Harrison Gakiavi and the late Gerida Wanjira. A beloved brother of Alice, Wambui, Kamau, the late Ireri, Wanja, Ruguru, Wangari and Njoki. Step Brother of the late (Mbogo, Gicovi, Kang’uru, Ndwiga, Leah and Rael) and Jemimah, Marigu and Nyaga. A very loved father of Mary Rwamba, Josephine Wawira, Emily Muthoni, Simon Njagi, Anne Kina, the late Stephen Kiarie, Henry Muriithi, MarietaWangai, Flora Kirigi, James Mbogo, Martin Muriuki and the late Murugi.

Loving father in law of Caleb Muhuyi, Loise Marangu, Stella Mukami, and Nina Mukami. Doting ‘Uma’ of Mary Rita & Sammy Kithinji, Dennis Annan, Michael Joseph, Victor Soita, Steve Mugane, Betty Wanjiru, Joylene Kajuju, Bill Austin, Mark Ryan, Ariana Wanjiru and Andrew Mbogo. Loving Great-grandfather of Naima Waithera. Brother in law of the late (Naftali, John, Ella, Titus, Ndwiga) and Julius, Michael, Fredrick, Beatrice amongst others. Loved by many nephews and nieces.

Funerals arrangement Meetings and funds drive are being held daily at his home in Kibogi, Kirigi Village and in Nairobi at St Paul’s university of Nairobi chapel, St. Augustine Hall starting 5.00pm from 12th – 14th and 17 & 18th June 2019.

The cortege leaves Lee funeral home at 6.00 am on 2Ist June 2019 for the Funeral Service at St. Joseph Kianjokoma Catholic parish church Embu, thereafter he will be interred at his Farm in Kibogi, Kirigi Village, Gaturi North, Embu County.
