It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will, that we announce the demise of Mwalimu Hezekiel Gichunge Thuranira. He was a teacher at Materi Girls Centre.

Devoted husband of Lydia Kagwiria Gichunge. Loving father to Brian M Mutuma, Skeeter F Nkirote and Ian Bruno Mwiti. Father-in-law to Irene Kangai and doting grandfather to Serah Kagwiria. Son of the Late Samuel Thuranira M’Amami and Loise Mwimbi Thuranira. Brother to the Late Kaaria, Late Gikandi, Luka, Charles, Moses, Late Ayub, Phyllis and Amos. Brother in law to Nchekei, Kinya and Angelo. He was a cousin, uncle and grandfather to many.

Friends and Relatives are meeting daily at his home in Kithino, Tunyai for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Consolata Hospital Nkubu on Friday 6th November 2020 at 10.00am for funeral service and burial at his home in Kithino, Tunyai.
