Mwalimu John Chege (Charagu) Muiruri

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mwalimu John Chege (Charagu) Muiruri which occurred on Friday 12th July, 2019.

Son of the late Peter Muiruri Michoro and the late Rachel Gathoni Muiruri of Kiunyu Village, Gatanga Sub-County, Muranga County. Husband of the late Naomi Wagio Chege. Father of Ann Njoki & Paul Kariuki, Nettah Wanjiru (Wakanjura), the late Evanson Muiruri & Grace Wanja, Kang’ethe Chege & Esther Njeri, Hilda Muthoni & Samuel Waweru, Faith Wanjiku & Macharia Waigwi. Grandfather and great-grandfather to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting on Thursday today 18th July, 2019 at Homeland Hotel along Thika Road from 5:00pm for a final meeting and at his home Kiunyu Village from 5:00pm daily for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral home on Saturday 20th July for a funeral service and final send off from 11:00am.
