We regret to announce the demise of Mwalimu Joseph Mbugua Kirika. He hails from Kambaa Village, Githunguri Sub-County, Kiambu County.

Son of the late Gabriel Kirika and the late Hannah Gathoni. Brother of the late Cecilia Wanjiru, Magdalena Wanjiku, John Kiarie, Mary Mathwe and the late Peter Burai. Step brother f the late Reminjio Mbugua, the late Pius Njau, Margaret Njeri, Joseph Karanja among others.

Husband of Pauline Njeri Mbugua and father of John Kirika (Joska, Ruai), Lucy Gathoni (Kambaa), Cecilia Wanjiru (Kimunyu, Gatundu), Jane Mwihaki (Kindiga), Paul Njoroge (Utawala), Fr. Francis Kiarie – Education Secretary, Archdiocese of Nairobi and of St. Peter Claver’s Catholic Parish, Nairobi, Peter Kinyanjui (Kambaa), Mary Nduta (KIreita), Anthony Karanja (Kambaa) and Advocate Martin Njenga of PKC Advocates LLP (Juja).

Grandfather of Kevin Mbugua, Consolata Njeri, Michael Ng’ang’a, Mbugua Mwamba among others. Great grandfather of Calvin Kirika and Megan Mwihaki.

The cortege leaves KU Funeral Home on Thursday, 2/03/2020 at 8:00am for Prayers and interment at his home in Kambaa Village, Githunguri Sub-County, Kiambu County.
