Mwalimu Mary Njeri Kamenwa

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Mary Njeri Kamenwa.

Loving wife to the late David Kamenwa Githinji. She hailed from Kibiku village, Wangige. Daughter to the late Moses Mungai Munjuga and Wangari Mungai of Karura Ka Munyaka, Step Daughter to the late Hannah Wangui Mungai (Wa Ndara). Daughter in law to the late Mr. & Mrs. Shadrack Githinji. Dearly beloved mother to Oliver Githinji, Susan Wangari, Allan Mungai, Judy Wangui and Lydia Wambui. Mother in love to Grace Nyawira, Waweru Kanja, Nemmy Ngugi and Pastor Moses Ndereva. Darling tutu to Denise, Kanja, Ashley, Wambui, Kamenwa, Eric, Karuku, Murugi and Njeri. Sister to Njuhi, Mburu, Ndiko, Njambi, Njenga, Wanjiru,Waceke and the late Nelson Ndara. Sister in law to Ruciu, Esther, Robert, Joyce, Grace,Waringa, Kagwanja and Josiah among others. A mother figure and friend to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting at her home in Kibiku, Wangige at 4:00 pm daily for prayers and burial arrangements.

Cortege leaves Lee funeral home on Thursday 4th March 2021 at 8.30am for funeral service at ACK Emmanuel Kibiku (Wangige) at 10:00am, followed by interment at her home in Kibiku, Ithanga.
