It is with humble acceptance of God’s will and gratitude for a life well lived that we announce the promotion to glory of our beloved wife, mother, Aunty, sister and cucu, Mwalimu Milka Kanyiha Gichuru, which occurred on 7th March, 2018 while undergoing treatment at Avenue Hospital, Nairobi.
She was the wife of Mr. Fredrick Gichuru Muchane. Mother of Nancy (EY) and Ndungu Mathu, Peter Muchane & Mambo (IGRTC) of Maki Thika, John Kamau (AG’S Office) & Eunice of Utawala, Andrew Kart Catherine Wambui, Loise Njeri & John Nderebe of New Jersey, USA. Cucu of Dr. Sam Mathu, Margaret Njeri, Mwihaki Mathu, Mwthaiu Muchano, Gichuru Muchane, Fredrick Gichuru, Wilson Muhia, Mambo Ken, Ruth Kagwe and great grandmother of Nissi Njambi.
Family and friends are meeting daily at the family home, Kahunira- Githunguri, Kiambu County.
The cortege leaves Mukoe Funeral Home Githunguri on Tuesday 13th March, 2018 at 8.30 a.m.
Service at PC.E.A Elijah Wathika Memorial Church, Kahunira at 10.00 a.m.
Thereafter burial at her family home, Kahunira Farm.

Our heavenly Father knows the pain we go through when we lose a loved one in death and He has promised a resurrection in Acts 24:15 where we will see our loved ones again.
