Mwalimu Samuel Kibe Karanja

It is with great sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mwalimu Samuel Kibe Karanja after a short illness.

Son of the late Wilson Karanja and the late Eunice Wangeci and step-Son of the late Monica Wambui. Beloved husband of Esther Muthoni Kibe. Loving Dad of Charles Karanja (Gamewatchers Safaris Ltd), Eunice Wangeci (Kenyatta Girls Sec. School), Mary Wanjiru (Business, Thika), Peter Kibui (Standard Chartered Kenya), and Priscillah Wangari (Chania Travellers Sacco). Dad-in-law of Jackline Warui-Kibui (Advocate). Grandfather of Mary Muthoni, Vincent Kibe, Ephraim Kibe, &Tracy Angel.

Brother of Priscillah Wanjiru, John Muchiri, James Njoroge, Mary Njoki, late Albert Kamau, late Francis Maganjo, late Joseph Kibe, late Francis Maganjo, late Peter Ng’ang’a and the late Samuel Muigai.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Giteme Village, Gatanga Sub-County and at the Blue Springs Hotel, Thika road for prayers and burial arrangement.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Friday, 19th July, 2019 at 8:30am for a funeral service and thereafter burial at his home in Giteme Village, Kigoro Sub-Location, Gatanga in Murang’a County.
