It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Sister-in-Christ Mwalimu Sarah Njoki Gitundu  of Matuguta, Githiga, Kiambu County.

Wife of Mwalimu Joseph Gitundu Mwangi. Mother of Lillian Njeri & the late Wilfred Mwangi, the late Humphrey Ng’ang’a, Catherine Nduta and the late Edwin Ruiyi, Irene Muchai and the late Samuel Muchai, Karen Kanuthu and Kabeberi Ndung’u. Daughter of the late Gerishom Ng’ ng’a and the late Keren Kanuthu. Daughter-in-law of the late Mwangi Gitundu and Wairimu Mwangi. Sister of Mary Wanjiru, Jerusha Wambui, Michael Gikuni, Amos Ndung’u, Cephas Thuo and Amon Nderi. Grandmother of Sarah Njoki Ng’ang’a and Joseph Gitundu Ng’ang’a among others.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily for prayers and funeral  arrangements at her home starting 4pm.

The cortege will live Mukoe Funeral Home on Thursday 16/11/2017 at 9:00 am. Funeral service will be held at PCEA Matuguta Church starting at 11:00 am and thereafter burial at her home in Matuguta village.
