Mwalimu Stephen Njagi

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Mwalimu Stephen Njagi.

Son of the late Gichoya Munyi and the late Kathi Kithumbi. Son-in-law to the late Dan Gichoni and the late Susana Gaconi.

Loving husband to Agnes Mati Njagi. Father to Judy Mwendia, Lucas Nyaga, Robert Kariuki, Mary Ngithi, Susan Wanja and Timothy Njeru. Father-in-law to James Mwangi, Nancy Igoki, Zippy Wanjuki, Milton Mwaniki and Nicasio Ndaru.

Brother to the late Peninah Njiku, Phides Micere, Rhoda Mwendia and the late Kithaka Munyi. He was grandfather and great-grandfather to many.

Friends and family are meeting daily at his home Kangeta Village, from 4:00pm for burial preparations.

The cortege leaves Gakwegori Funeral Home on Friday 17th February, 2023 at 8:00am. The funeral service will be held at St. Barnabas ACK Church – Gachuriri in Mbeere South, Embu County. Thereafter, he will be laid to rest at his home Kangeta Village in Gachuriri Sub-location in Embu County.
