Mzee Charles Omambia Mugoya

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mzee Charles Omambia Mugoya (Sir Charles), which occurred on 27th September, 2024.

Son of the late Ithomayo Mugoya and the late Pauline Nyaboe.

Beloved husband of Josephine Moraa Omambia. Loving father of Lilian, Dorothy, Edna, janet, the late Wesley, Lorna, Irene, Emmanuel, Brian and Pauline,

Brother of Elizabeth Ondieki, Josphat Mugoya, Silas Mugoya, Morrison Mugoya, Martha Nyaboke, the late Grace, Dainah Gechemba and the late Gardner Onchaga.

Uncle of the Mugoya and Nyambane grandchildren among others. Cousin to many,

Grandfather of Michael, Gabriele, Raphael, Wynne, Lynne, Tash, Tramel, Ariel, Aryan, Aare Jerome, Jonathan and Jake.

Father-in-aw of Mari Onsase, Henry Shamwama, Johnson Omwando and Felix Moenga.

Son-in-law of the late Nyambane Ombaso and Preah Kemunto. Brother-in-law of late Priscah Nyamacheri, Rebeceah Silas, Esther Rogito, Beatrice Machuka, David Nyambane, Florence Monari, Kefa Nyambane, Zachariah Nyambane, Stella Ombui, Jackson Nyambane, Arama Nyambane among others.

Friends and relatives will meet st Wagon Hotel, Eldoret. and at his Gesabakwa Nyaburarire village home on Tuesday 8th October 2024 from 2.00pm fora funds drive to support the funeral arrangements

The cortege leaves Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital Morgue on Thursday, 10th October at 7.00am fora service at Eldovile SDA Church, Kapsoya, at 80am and thereafter leave for his home at Gesabalowa Nyaburarire Village, Masaba South Sub-County, Kisii County for the funeral ceremony and burial on Friday 11th October from 8.00am.
