Appreciation

The family of the late Mzee Daniel Djonnes Onyango Odima would like to express our sincere appreciation and gratitude to everyone who has, in different ways, stood with us through your continued prayers, messages of sympathy and all forms of support following the death of our beloved patriarch.

We are immensely grateful to the Parliamentary Service Commission staff led by the Clerk of the Senate, Upperhill (Highrise Flats) neighbours, Women of Substance, Keveye School Alumni and UoN Psy/Sociology (2012) Alumni for all that you did to help ensure a befitting send-off for our Dad.

We are also deeply thankful to KISCO 92/93 Alumni, Members of Council and Management, Turkana University College, select staff, former and current students of UoN, Mr. Osano and Kenya National Association of the Deaf (KNAD) Kisumu, Nation Media Group, Deaf Women Initiative Network and the entire Disability Fraternity and Kibos Sugar and Allied for taking your time to condole with and offer us your material, moral and emotional support.

Thank you to all the doctors, nurses and caregivers who attended to Mzee over the years, the churches that prayed with us and presided over his burial ceremony and to all the service providers who served us after he rested.

As a family, we were overwhelmed by the encouragement and support from all of you, our kith and kin, and request that you accept this message as a token of our deep gratitude for your unwavering kindness that brought us great comfort at the lowest moment in our lives. We shall be eternally grateful to all of you.
