We regret to announce the passing on of our legend Mzee Ernest Kipketer Maritim arap Kuna.

He was the son of Rotigen Ole Kuna and Terembe Tapkurgoi. Loving husband to Veronica Chepkemboi Keter. Brother of late Kimeto, late Bernard, Reginald, Kipkemei, and Sister Justina Tele. He was son-in-law to Kapsem. Brother-in-law to late Joseph Tormoi, late Silvester Tororey, Mark Tororey, late Augustine Tormoi and late Albert Tormoi.

He was father to Margaret and James Morumbasi, James and Stella Maritim, Priscilla and Benjamin Birgen, Leo Maritim, Epimach and Mary Maritim, Stella and Daniel Tanui, Lucy and Jason Kapkirwok. Silvia and Richard Rono, George and Bernadette Maritim, Eugene-Kennedy and Kirsten.

Grandfather to Michael, Yvonne, Dr. Kigen, Sandra, Brian, Christine, late Gabriel, Moses, Marianne, Joy, Chiri, Ronald, Brigid, Dennis, Tim, Elsie, Tessy, Tebby, Tania, Chebet, Chiri, Chemutai, Jnr, Tony, Tele, Cindy, Kibet and Alexis, Great-Grandfather to Lulu, James, Michael, Kigen, Alison and Dylan.

Meetings are being held daily at United Kenya Club from 5:30 p.m.

A fundraiser will be held on Thursday 19 July at the same venue.

Celebration of his life will be held on 24th July 2018 at his Ogilgei farm, Chemnoet village, Nandi County.
