Mzee Gabriel Gathogo Kiburu (Wa-High)
It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Mzee Gabriel Gathogo Kiburu (Wa-High) of Gachege village, Githobokoni, Gatundu North, after short illness.
Son of the late Paul Kiburu Thumbi and the late Hanna Wanjiru Thumbi.
Loving husband to Alice Wangari Gathogo. Father to the late Joseph Ngugi, Samuel Mburu, Dominic Maina Anne Wanjiru, Francis Mwangi and James Mung’ara.
Brother to the late Mary Njeri, the late Dominic Ngugi, Peter Munga’ra, John Kainika, Paul Wanyoike.
Son-in-law to the late Gerishon Ngugi &Beth Wangui. Grandfather and uncle to many.
Funeral committees are meeting daily at his home Gachege and Kirigiti, Kiambu.
The cortege leaves K.U. Mortuary on Tuesday, 4th October, 2022 for burial later in his farm at Gachege village.
2 Tim 4:7-8 —”I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
