Mzee George Kabiru Ngunyu of Othaya dies at 108 years

 1912 – 14th December 2020

We announce the death of our beloved Father/Guka Mzee George Kabiru Ngunyu on 14/12/2020.

Beloved son of the Late Ngunyu Kabiru and the late Sarah Wangari of Kianganda Village, Othaya Sub-County, Nyeri County.

He died at the age of 108 years. Father to the late Lt. Col (Rtd) James N. Kabiru, Bernard Ndegwa, the late Anthony King’ori, the late Joseph Wambugu, Jane Wangari (UK), Mary Wambui, the late Alex Ndumo (Jimmy).

Brother to the late Wambui, the late Mary Nyaguthii and the late Loise Wanjira. Father n-law to Josephine Wangui, the late Edith Wanjiru, Lydia Kabura, Gitau Ng’ang’a, Loise Mumbi. Grandfather to 16 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements meetings are being held daily at his son’s residence in Mihango Estate Nairobi and at his home in Kianganda village, Othaya Sub-County from 6pm.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Mortuary on Wednesday 23/12/2020 at 6:30am. Funeral service will be held at 10:30am at his home in Kianganda village, Othaya Sub-County, Nyeri County in accordance to MOH guidelines,

To our beloved Father/Guka we celebrate the rich and amazing legacy you have left with us.You have taught us family values and Its tender love, which we shall carry on in your honour.
