Son-in-law of the late Osii Onyony of Karachuonyo Kanyamfwa, John William Midam of Kwabwayi, Orwa Ongau of Kochia and Erasto Loma of Alego Nyalgunga. Husband of the late Karen Omollo, Margaret Akomo, Jane Francisca Anyango and Jane Aoko. Father of Hon. Tom Obondo, Agnes, Catherine, Joshua, James, Zakayo Obondo, Joyce, Bernard, Rose, Samuel Obondo, Ludia, Fred Obondo, Caleb, Simon, Peninah, Meresa, Sofia, Aoko, Mark, Boniface, Joyce Akamba, Achieng, Juliana, Wasonga, Phoebe, Brian, Anne, Esther, Sabina, Collins, Effie, Dovela, Sarah, Sylvia, Daudi, Kapinga, Owigo, Aaron, Ooro, Kennedy Ogolla, Washington Kale, the late Maurice Omollo, David, Judith, Seth and Auma.

The body is lying in Kirindo Funeral Home in Mbita.

Fundraiser to help settle hospital and burial expenses shall be held on Wednesday 8th May 2019 at the All Saints Cathedral from 4.30pm.

The burial shall be on the 17th May 2019 at his Kodiera home Kanyamwa Kologi, Ndhiwa Constituency, Homa Bay County.
