Mzee Henry M’Akwalu M’Aburuki

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mzee Henry M’Akwalu M’Aburuki, (Former Agriculture Officer in Meru, around 1965 – 1987, which occurred on 8th July, 2019 at Milimani Hospital, Meru.

Husband of the late Martha Kirigo. Son of the late M’aburuki M’maganda and Ciamutua. Son-in-law of the late Jacob M’Mbijiwe and the late Marion Nkundi of Mikumbune Meru. Father of Grace Nthaama, the late Joyce Nene, Rose Nkatha, Jean Gatwiri, Aileen Gacheri, Lillian Kagwiria, Samuel Mutegi, Faith Kananu, the late Purity Karimi and the late David Murithi. Brother of the late, Isaiah M’mwongo, Sarah Ntuara, Marcelina Mwari, David M’Inoti and Francis Miriti. Father-in-law of Stephen Wainaina, Stephen Kaibung’a, Philip Mutugi, Julius Muchiri, Late Bernard Mugambi, Ernest Kiambi, the late Eunice Makena, Joseph Kirema, the late David Munjuri and Mercy Murochia. A Cousin, Uncle, Grandfather and Great-grandfather of many.

The cortege will leave Meru General Hospital Mortuary on Tuesday 16th July at 9.00am. Followed by a funeral service at MCK St. Stephen’s Amwari church. The body shall be laid to rest at his home in Amwari Village, Uringu Division, Tigania West.
