With humble acceptance to God’s will, we announce the passing on of Mzee Jacob Chelagat Kipkulei (Shamir) of Kapcheptinya Village, Kaptere Sub Location, Saimo Location, Baringo County.
He was the 2nd son of the late Chelangat and Hannah Talaa (Kopselly). Loving husband of Zippora Cecilia Kobilo. Brother of Edward Chelagat of Kapkelelwa and Wilson Chelagat Kapchetinya. Doting father of the late Vincent Kipsosur, Dorcas Jemuge, Bernard Tarus, Fr. Evans Kiplimo Kulei (St. Timothy Parish, Total), Angela Jemosop, Felisters Jepkemboi and Hilary Kiprop.
Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Cathedral of Christ the King hail Nakuru from 5.30 p.m and at his home Kaptere Village from 3.00 p.m. for burial arrangement. The cortege leaves Kabarnet Referral Hospital Mortuary on Friday 29th September at 8.30 a.m to St. Peters Girls, Kaptere for his funeral mass and later burial will be held at his rural home in Kaptere, Baringo County.

Please find comfort in knowing that Jehovah God has promised a resurrection at Acts 24:15 and this is something we can look forward to. Our heavenly father knows the pain we go through when we lose someone in death and has therefore promised to wipe out death forever- Isaiah 25:8 and 1Cor 15:26.
