Mzee James Chepkwony (Tororei)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mzee James Chepkwony (Tororei) of Kiplus Village, Sergoit, Elgeyo Marakwet County.

Son of the late Chepkwony arap Taiwa and Shakwei Chepkwony. Brother of Tapkili, Catherine Tamurei, the late Chepkoiya Chepkwony, the late Arap Samoei Chepkwony and the late Kipsaina Barsigo.

Husband of Taprandich Kabon Kimutai. Beloved father of Joseph, Annah, William, Barnaba and the late Salina. He was blessed with several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The cortege leaves Iten County Referral Hospital on Friday 3rd March, 2023 for mass at St. Joseph Kiplus Catholic Church, thereafter the cortege leaves for an night vigil at his home in Kiplus, Sergoit.

Funeral service and burial will be held on Saturday 4th March, 2023 at his farm, Kiplus Village, Sergoit, Elgeyo Marakwet County.

2nd Timothy 4:7 —”I have fought a good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
