It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will we announce the sudden demise of Mzee John Ken Oyoo Opiyo from Kobura Siany Kokuto, Obino Primary School, which occurred on Tuesday, 4th October 2022.

Son of the late Vitalis Oyoo and Margaret Oyoo. Husband to Karen Atieno Opiyo. Doting father to Philip Oyoo Opiyo, Erick Omwandho Opiyo, Lydia Atieno Opiyo. Father-in-law to Anne Nasirumbi Magero, Angela Chochi Ochieng and grandfather to Shallet Jesca Oyoo, Keera Atieno Omwandho, Ka’ger Anunda Omwandho, Ivanna Rose Oyoo and Happiness Aria Oyoo.

Beloved brother to Joseph Onyango Oyoo, Francis Omuga Oyoo, Samson Odhiambo Oyoo, Joseph Otieno Oyoo, Daniel Otieno Oyoo, Raphael Okoth Oyoo, the late Benedict Oyoo, Agwenge Oyoo, William Omondi Oyoo, Jacob Jombo Oyoo, Jane Akeyo Maseko, Konsolata Auma Achiando, the late Gawdensia Olang Okoth and Getruda Ochweda Okoth. He was loving uncle, cousin and friend to many.

The cortege leaves St. Elizabeth Hospital Mortuary in Chiga on Friday, 14th October 2022 to his home in Siany Chiga Sub-Location, Kisumu Town Location, Winam Division Kisumu County. The burial ceremony will be on Saturday, 15th October 2022.
