It is with great sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mzee Joseph Alomba Lukula.

Husband to the late Beatrice Alomba. Father of Jerrydah Mango, the late Risper Olusakha, the late Ruth Ambani, the late Dianah Alomba, Doris Alomba Mundia, Noah Akatu Alomba, Phyliss Chibayi and Mercy Alomba.

Father-in-law to late Paul Mango, Ismail Olusakha, Prof James Kulubi, Evance Mundia, Lydia Akatu. Grandfather and great grand father to many, uncle and father figure to many.

The body is lying at Montezuma Funeral Home.

Prayers and meetings to raise funds to meet a medical bill and burial are being held at Holy Family Basilica-Cardinal Otunga every day from 5.30pm.

There will be a memorial service at All Saints Cathedral on 8th June 2023 from 7.45am.

The cortege leaves All Saints Cathedral on Thursday, 8th June 2023 at noon for Butere, where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, 10th June 2023 at Mzee’s homestead in Shinyulu Village, Butere, Kakamega County.
