It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mzee Joseph Arita Omanwa, on 24/06/2019.

Beloved Husband of the late Nyakara Asuma and Moraa Nyakundi. Son of the late Omanwa Birisio and the late Boera Omanwa. Brother of Obonyo Nyanyuki, Nashon Kongo, Nyaera Geteri, Nyomenda Nyakagwa and Nyangau Omanwa. Beloved Father of Bundi Arita, David Obare, Magret Osiri, Hellen Mwango, the late Josephine Nyaboke, Marcella Gechemba, Ezekiel Obare Arita, Birisio Arita, Isabella Arita, Zablon Arita, Erick Arita, Moke Arita. Father ln law of Grace Kamunto Bundi, Esther Nyangate Obare, Teresa Kwamboka Nyarangi, Rose Kemunto Birisio And Stella lmayote Zablon, Joseph Mogaka Oburu, Samuel Okinyi Gesimba and Kepha Mochache Nyabaro.

Uncle of Hellen Mwango George Omanwa, Samuel Makworo, Stephen Obare, Veronicah Nyakara, Naomi Kwamboka, Hyline Sigara, Esther Nyaituga, Lilian Nyarangi, Alice Moraa, Josephine Nyanganyi, Charles Nyabuti, Hellen Nyanyuki, Evans Mayaka, Jane Kwamboka, Alice Kerubo, Wilson Oseko, Ronald Omwenga, the late Joseph Moegi, Mary Nyaboke, Stella Kemunto, Lucy Nyakara, Sophia Kwamboka, Vivian Moraa, the late Kennedy Nyakagwa, Gladys, the late George, Julius, Nyakara, Ezekiel Nyangau, Birisio, Obuba Sabina,Vikilinda. He has left behind 41 Grandchildren and 11 Great-grandchildren.

The body is lying at Nyamira Nursing Home. Funeral arrangements are ongoing at his home, in Nyaisa Village.

The cortege leaves Nyamira Nursing Home, on Thursday 4th July, 2019, at 11:00am and taken to Nyamira Parish, for prayers. Thereafter, the body will be taken to his home, in Nyaisa Village for an overnight vigil.

Burial will held on Friday 5th July, 2019, at his home in Nyaisa Village, Timi Sub-Location, Keera Location, Nyamaiya Division, Nyamira County.

Fundraising are ongoing at his home, in Nyaisa Village, daily and in Nairobi, will be held at Tumaini House, on Tuesday 2nd July, 2019, from 5:00pm.
